Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities 

  1. Identifying the training need for Promoters, sales Representatives and Retail s supervisors Based on the need preparing training manuals and materials.

  2. Provide training to sales promoters and supervisors.

  3. Follow-up the day-to-day activities of sales promoters and supervisors and other sales and marketing teams to support them

  4. Develop, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive training programs for new and existing sales team members.

  5. Create customized training materials, including presentations, manuals, and role-playing scenarios, to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

  6. Facilitate and conduct training sessions both in-person and virtually for new hires, sales representatives, and sales managers.

  7. Analyze sales performance metrics to identify skill gaps and areas of improvement for individual team members and the sales team as a whole.

  8. Work with sales leadership to align training initiatives with business goals and KPIs.

  9. Offer ongoing coaching, feedback, and mentoring to enhance the performance of sales staff.

  10. Partner with cross-functional teams Marketing, to ensure alignment of sales training with company initiatives and product updates.

  11. Act as a liaison between sales leadership and training teams to ensure continuous communication of sales challenges and training requirements.

  12. Develop dynamic and engaging training content based on the latest sales techniques, trends, and tools.

  13. Ensure that all training materials are up to date, relevant, and engaging, leveraging various formats such as eLearning modules, videos, and in-person workshops.

  14. Measure the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance reviews.

  15. Regularly assess sales team development needs and recommend additional training or resources based on results.

  16. Stay updated on the latest sales methodologies, techniques, tools, and industry trends to incorporate into training programs.

  17. Prepare performance evaluation criteria’s and implement it to sales promoters and supervisors.

  18. Advising the manager on the best methods and mechanisms which help the department to archive its objectives.

  19. Collect and analyses weekly and monthly sales amount of each sales promoter to identify his or her performance.

  20. Based on the analyzed sales performance Recommend and implement improvement mechanisms.

  21. Facilitate training & development programs

  22. Secure adherence to company’s policies and guidelines

  23. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development across the sales team.

  24. Maintain records of all training activities and track individual and team progress.

  25. Generate reports to showcase the impact of training programs on sales performance and provide recommendations for improvements

 26. Any other duties assigned by his or her immediate supervisor or Manager

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or MA/ MBA in Business Administration, Marketing Management, Management or a related field 5-8 years of experience in Sales training Specialist or Sales Training manager, with at least 3 years in a sales training role Proven success in developing and delivering sales training programs.

  • Strong knowledge of sales processes, tools, and strategies, including Customer Relation Management systems and sales enablement tools.

  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to assess, analyze, and adapt training strategies based on individual and team needs.

  • Ability to motivate and engage learners with different learning styles.

  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze sales performance metrics and draw actionable insights.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Familiarity with digital content creation platforms is a plus.

  • A natural leader with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing sales teams.

  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative solutions to training challenges.

  • Able to quickly adjust to changing business needs and market conditions.

  • Focused on achieving measurable outcomes and driving business performance.

  • The role typically operates in an office environment but may require some travel for on-site training sessions or events.

  • Flexibility to work remotely or with a hybrid model may be available, depending on company policy.
