Job Description
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Work Experience: A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in providing administrative and logistical support to foreign diplomats and expatriates within the context of the United Nations or international organizations is required. Experience in logistical support includes, but is not limited to, handling resident visa, visa extension, immigration formalities, benefits & privileges, protocol services, accommodation and housing, security services, and more is required. Knowledge of administrative and operational support in the context of logistical and protocol services is desirable. Familiarities with the process, systems, and best practices. Handling detailed planning, coordination, and execution of tasks such as, diplomatic events, ceremonial duties within the context of United Nations or International Organizations is desirable. One year or more of experience in data analytics or related areas is desirable.
• Languages: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official United Nations language is an advantage.
