Job Description
KAKI PLC is an official dealer and assembler of ISUZU Vehicles in Ethiopia. It is also engaged in different business lines including import, export, metal fabrication, after sales services, and cargo freight transport operations. The company wishes to employ a qualified professional for the Part Sales Supervisor position.
Plan, direct, coordinate and control part sales and related activities to ensure a constant increasing of sales, expanding market share and ensuring profitability while maintaining existing customers and attracting more potential customers.
Ensure parts sales activities at the counters (parts retail sales & parts transfer to workshop) are done as per the company operational guidelines.
Provide technical support for parts sales representative & counter sales persons at the customer (front) counter and workshop counter on parts identification & selling skills of genuine parts.
Monitor the workload on each counter sales person and assign tasks/requests based on skill and experience as well as nature of requests from customers.
Handle part transfer request/demand from branch offices and sub-dealers.
Organize, coordinate and supervise counter sales persons’ schedules to meet and exceed goals.
Perform activities directed at expanding parts sales at the service shop.
Understand customer needs and offer solutions and support.
Answer potential customer questions and follow-up call questions.
Control order/sales data to maintain an appropriate level of inventory.
Control delivery schedule for back ordered parts to ensure they are delivered by the due date.
Provide service to customers who visit the service shop to purchase parts, and perform sales after correctly identifying the part number of the part required by the customer.
Explain the advantage of using Isuzu genuine parts to the customers in an effort to increase sales of Isuzu genuine parts.
Establish and maintain favorable relationship with local part dealers and service shops to ensure the distribution of Isuzu genuine parts to the point of sale.
In coordination with the Vehicle Sales, staffs make regular visits to fleet customers who have their own workshop to gain an understanding of their parts needs.
At the point of contact for local part-dealers and non-franchised service-shops, perform ordering, sales, delivery of parts, and collection of accounts receivable.
Perform marketing intelligence activities for getting a better market share on sales of spare parts.
Assist sales representatives and team to meet and exceed goals.
Perform activities directed at expanding parts sales at the service shop.
Understand customer needs and offer solutions and support.
Ensure security of sales outlet environments and maintain access control, ensuring 5S housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
Prepare daily & weekly parts sales report and report to the parts manager.
Arrange training programs to increase skill level of the part sales team.
Conduct employee performance appraisal periodically to evaluate how well employees have completed their duty and to take any needful action accordingly.
Prepare performance reports for submission to the Part Sales Division Head.
Required Number : 1(One)
Qualification : B.Sc./B.A. Degree in Automotive, or Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration or related field
Work Experience: 6 years in relevant role
Required Competence :
Excellent Communication – both verbal and written
Advanced Computer Skill with good numeric skills
Networking, conversation ability, and interpersonal skill
Knowledge of Industry Products (Parts)
